But when you have all of this Polyester in most of the clothes people are buying especially from China which most of our clothes seem to come from. Not much made in the UK (through people wanting to stay in European Union) this is what we have . A global import system. Anyway as for Womens Bras i have been trying to find a Bra for weeks and weeks . They all mostly have all of the synthetic material especially POLYAMIDE MODAL
which is another really bad material. Also POLYESTERS i could go on. NON COVERED ELASTANE ALSO ELASTIC TOO. Its about the food in our supermarkets processed and organic too expensive for people. The Governments of countries have not looked after us. Sorry for the rant but its true. Foods containing bad ingredients etc etc. Same with materials thats the main reason people are getting these diseases.

This makes me question the validity of the rest of your articles. Here’s just the first article I found to debunk this myth.
[4] Ray, C. Claiborne (February 15, 2010). “Bras and Cancer”. New York Times. There is no scientifically credible evidence… and the proposed mechanism—that bras prevent elimination of toxins by blocking lymph flow—is not in line with scientific concepts of how breast cancer develops. Internet traffic on the issue is mostly inspired by one study with several scientific flaws, Dr. Gansler said. The study, never published in a peer-reviewed journal, did not adjust for known breast cancer risk factors that might be associated with bra-wearing behavior, like weight and age. Also, study participants knew the hypothesis before taking the survey.

There can be issues with both of these:

I also have read that soy milk but only non GMO and organic is good for breast health and keeping arteries pliable and open.
The other thing I occasionally do is massage my breasts with castor oil and leave it on all night. Sleep in a cotton t-shirt or something you can easily wash. Castor oil massages are great for lymphatic drainage and also work for upset stomach or elimination issues. Your skin is a sponge.

Ate whole foods, nothing processed, worked out religiously, took care of myself, no family history, etc, etc, etc. I have upped my vitamins ever since and continue to eat well and workout regularly. All great advice to lower the chances, and just great advice for living a healthy life in general!

Excellent recommendation! You can also take B17 in caps or tablets. My husband and I have been taking 100-200 mg daily for about 7 years. He’s not crazy about the apricot kernals, but I have been able to sneak them into my cooking!

I’ve been using homemade magnesium oil spray for an underarm deodorant for a couple of years now – at your suggestion! Works great! The mention of HRT can be tricky – but there is much to be gained in bio-identical hormones. You have to find a competent compound pharmacists who, in conjunction with your doctor (or naturopath) , will make compound them just to fit your needs. Here is a good description of them; http://custommedicine.com/hormonereplacement.htm

Thanks again for the great info! And YES! I am going to get a new bra!

Its the Cosabella Curvy Sweetie bralette. I tried Coobie and Genie bras and they just didn’t work for my 32Gs. More expensive though 🙁

You suggested Coobie bras but they are not cotton. Is there an alternative or a cotton bra (for nursing) that you recommend?

I recently started taking molecular iodine because I found numerous studies showing it’s effectiveness with breast cancer patients. I found a lump in my breast, & since beginning molecular iodine one month ago it has already shrunk. I think it is definitely worth mentioning in one of your posts. Thanks for all you do to contribute to our lives by giving us resources and information on healthier living.

The only chemical free deodorant that I have found that works is one called Sam’s Natural, it is a life saver.

I use it too – I dissolve the stick in water, and spray it on from a spray bottle. It is effective, lasts “forever”, and this makes it easy to apply.

I love your website and you are my go-to for health, beauty, and food advice!! Thank you for what you do!
However, I’m wondering about breast enlargement? Is there a safe way to increase the size? I have read a lot about herbs and supplements (saw Palmetto, fenugreek, wild yam, etc) but wonder what your thoughts are on the subject.
Thanks!

I have a question about exercising braless. I have recently decided (since last summer) to go braless. But I still wear a sports bra for martial arts only (I am a C cup).. But when I do stretching, lifting weights etc…is a bra really necessary? What is your experience with this?

I don’t wear a bra and am a 38c. I nurse my daughter and I like to run. I really don’t care what it looks like to others. I care more about getting my exercise.

It may be worth researching.
The goal is to help lymphatic flow, and clear the nipples of any clogged ducts.

Turns out I’m a 34H. No wonder.

So when I got a bra that truly fit and actually lifted the girls off my chest, I was able to stand up straight. Those who don’t have H cups on slender ribs like a 34 band don’t get it. For me to just walk the dog or do the dishes, I need major support. Does this Coobie bra offer that? I like these massive wires as much as anyone (not much) but I don’t hurt or feel like I’ll break anymore. When I take my bra off at night my breasts HURT from the dragging weight, and I can no longer stand up or sit straight. It’s so important to find out what size you really are and deal accordingly. I thought I was a 36c or 36d for like 15 years!

Most women are wearing the wrong size. I too thought I was just fine. But when I looked up how to take my measurements and put them in online calculators, I learned that I knew nothing about breast size. One if the worst things about boobs this big? The bras cost $80. And you don’t run. Yoga is way uncomfortable. Exercise is difficult, you have poor balance, dancing gets obscene. I’d take DD any day over an H cup. Just saying.

I did find that getting fluoride out my water intake made a huge difference in the feeling of rigidity, though. Highly recommend doing that if you can.
