My first 2 births were very similar to yours. I loved reading them. They made me laugh. I like how you described everything. My 2nd birth we went to a park and played and my contractions whomped out and quit. We tried tried a few things our Coach Instructor suggested during these times. I happened to bring my breast pump and before I hardly began my hormones kicked back in those contractions in overdrive. We went to the Nurse-Midwifery 5 minutes before they closed. I went upstairs and had our second girl. Each time I had a very intense contraction (at this point) I meditated and prayed. What a beautiful and Spiritual rush! I was so in love with our girls and husband -the Birth was 3 hours total. Thank you for your transparency. I talk about your site and articles all the time to my friends. I love it. It’s awesome.

I even said that out loud. He was an all natural v-bac and a very joyful labor and delivery. My midwife said she never saw anyone laugh and smile as much as I did through my labor. (I read the books you read & others determined to have my 2nd birth experience be better than my first – if you were here I’d tell you about it- very similar to yours but with worse interventions, drug reactions and a c-section in the end!) Makes me wish I was still in those childbearing years!
