I have heard mixed information on boiling oxalate foods to remove them. Some agree with what you have in this article and some adamantly say that boiling oxalate foods does not remove the oxalates at all.
Also I have used Chanca piedra supplementation for years and the last kidneys stone I have experienced came on 9/17/2017…. yes, I vividly remember that date but not for the stones themselves. It was the date we were to give our daughter’s Australian in-laws a ride to the airport after visiting with us for a few days, which my husband then did by himself and then got home only to turn right around and take me to the ER. Anyhow, the chanca is believed to help block absorption. I have also been cautious to limit large amounts of oxalate foods & been careful to eat a calcium food source with oxalate foods and not use calcium supplements, both of which are part of my prevention practices. I believe all 3 of these practices together have been my kidney saviors, along with my real Savior.

I was able to double my weekly running mileage after years of not having enough energy to run as much as when I was younger, and my pace improved at least 3o seconds per mile on my easier runs. I was eating a lot of dark chocolate and smoothies with spinach, beet root powder, green banana flour etc daily. I went from eating about 700mg of oxalates a day to trying to keep it under 100mg.
