In reply to Kyla. You can try gently remelting while whisking vigorously to get the ingredients to recombine, but it would need to be removed from the containers to do that. You can also put it in the fridge to cool down instead of leaving it at room temperature. This usually resolves the shea butter issue.

My daughter made this recipe about a week ago, and while it was great at the beginning, it has now separated and has tiny balls in it. I’m guessing it’s the shea butter, but not certain. Any troubleshooting ideas? It’s already been put into containers, so hoping there is something we can do without removing them.
