Can I just take the chopped leaves and the coconut oil and add it together and then rub that on. Bees wax pellets seem a little expensive.

Jewelweed is a time-tested remedy, and it’s great to see a simple DIY salve recipe laid out so clearly. I appreciate the tips on identifying the plant and safely preparing it—especially for beginners. It would be great to know how long the salve keeps and the best way to store it. Looking forward to trying this out during hiking season!
