A lot of people use red light for helping achy or painful joints and it’s considered generally safe 🙂 This study is a meta-analysis that looks at the benefits of using red light for arthritis and found very promising results. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10531845/

Thank you so much for this wonderful collection of information. I look forward to this list every year. I have a question about red light therapy. I’ve read your article & looked at the one on this list. Would red light therapy be effective for someone who has a lot of joint pain & perhaps arthritis? (They’ve also had a knee replacement if that makes a difference.) I’ve been looking for years for something to help my husband with pain who spend years in construction with lots of wear & tear on his body. He’s used essential oils, CBD oil, epsom salt baths, icing, & OTC medications when things are really rough. I very much appreciate any thoughts you have.

We met Kentucky Hill Industries in the middle of the 70s in a craft show in Ashville, NC and purchased a cherry potato masher. Later we visited Pine Knot and purchased end tables, coffee table and a Jefferson chair. we have enjoyed all of these items for all of this time and would like to visit Pine Knot again. It doesn’t seem that you have any furniture store any more or iitems crafted by the local people. Is this correct?

Can you elaborate on the blue light blocking glasses? Is there one pair that works for daytime and nighttime use or are the orange tinted ones better for nighttime only? I’m thinking for my husband who uses his laptop for work during the day, and then for occasional nighttime screen use. Thank you! There are just so many different kinds and options that it is overwhelming:)

Absolutely loved you for years…BUT now it’s all endorsements for 3rd party companies. It’s sad you’re steering away from your all natural recipes & intimate recipes for people who have followed you for years. Slowly becoming commercialized rather it’s natural or not it’s really the same. I’ve just spent 20min looking for a recipe that USED to take me 5min to find. Love ya just being honest

In reply to Dana Wulfert. Dana, Just a few ideas. We are decorating our indoor Christmas tree this year with popcorn garlands, pine cones and dried fruit. It is taking a bit longer to finish the garland, but I know it will be worth it

Hi!!
Yes, the Corelle are nice non-toxic items to add to your collection, but I wanted to offer my experience…
I started with Corelle, and still use them for some things (they are my everyday bowls and plates, plus I heat some easy to boil or microwave (rarely) items). But, you cannot cook evenly in them ( sautee or fry, etc.)
I finally saved my pennies and went to the closest Le Creuset outlet shop and purchased two multi-use pot/pans, and they have been GREAT. I even use them to reheat things instead of using the microwave. I also purchased two ScanPans for non-stick cooking. I waited for a really good sale at Sur la Table for those. I hear the Xtrema that Katie links to above is an excellent choice as well! Good luck…I am always evolving as I learn about and save up for new safe and healthy items!! 🙂 🙂

In reply to Wellness Mama. Yes i agree I was leaning to the Chemex but my Husband has no patience to stand over and pour at 5am and the automatic pour over was $500 bucks. So that and the hot factor I lost that battle. SO back to decision process and I think Im going with the Stainless Steel french press. Thanks for your time. I appreciate your response and opinion.
