Would you be willing to share approximately where you started in terms of calories? I’ve been trying to sustainably lose some weight (10 lbs ir so) in my 50’s by eating 17-1800 cals. Not much luck yet, but I don’t want to drastically reduce and mess with my metabolism. I’ve been hearing about reverse dieting and read your story above. I don’t think I should double myself to 3600 cals/day? hard to believe I’d lose weight on that. I am going to try to be more diligent with the other things you listed. Any thoughts?
